Department of Migrant Workers Logo Design Making Contest

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) is thrilled to invite all Filipinos, aged 18 and above, to participate in the highly-anticipated Digital Logo Design Contest. Through this competition, talented creators will have the opportunity to showcase their skills by crafting a unique logo that will become synonymous with the department’s identity.

Participants are advised to adhere strictly to the DMW’s rules and regulations. Each participant is allowed a single entry, which, once submitted, becomes final and cannot be altered. The winning logo will be the official symbol of the department, and rights to it will be solely owned by the DMW. To maintain fairness and impartiality, entrants should not disclose their designs publicly until after the winner is announced.

John Jaeffer Javier Wins DMW Digital Logo Making Contest

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) proudly announces John Jaeffer Javier as the winner of the DMW Digital Logo Making Contest. His exceptional design, which embodies the vision and commitment of the DMW to its mandate as “Tahanan ng OFW,” stood out among numerous entries.

In a ceremony held on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the DMW Main Office in Mandaluyong City, Officer-in-Charge Hans Leo J. Cacdac, alongside Undersecretary Maria Anthonette C. Velasco-Allones and Batangas 2nd District Representative Gerville “Jinky Bitrics” Luistro, presented Javier with a plaque of recognition and a cash prize of Php 100,000.

As the DMW advances its branding initiatives, I would like the winning logo design to undergo modifications to meet the requirements stipulated by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP). Stay tuned for the updated logo that will represent the DMW’s ongoing dedication to the welfare of overseas Filipino workers.
