The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) is thrilled to invite all Filipinos, aged 18 and above, to participate in the highly-anticipated Digital Logo Design Contest. Through this competition, talented creators will have the opportunity to showcase their skills by crafting a unique logo that will become synonymous with the department’s identity.
Participants are advised to adhere strictly to the DMW’s rules and regulations. Each participant is allowed a single entry, which, once submitted, becomes final and cannot be altered. The winning logo will be the official symbol of the department, and rights to it will be solely owned by the DMW. To maintain fairness and impartiality, entrants should not disclose their designs publicly until after the winner is announced.
The logo design must resonate with the DMW’s mandate, vision, mission, and tagline – Ang Tahanan ng OFW. Detailed guidelines pertaining to color schemes and fonts are provided to maintain uniformity across all submissions. It’s important to note that logos created using artificial intelligence will be disqualified, as the DMW values the personal touch and creativity of human designs.
The last date for entry submission is December 6, 2023, at 11:59 P.M. Entries have to be sent via email, along with a notarized registration form, valid identification document, and a brief explanation of the concept, design, and elements incorporated into the logo. This ensures the evaluation process remains unbiased and comprehensive.
The winning logo designer will receive a plaque of honor and a hefty cash prize of ₱100,000.00! This prize stands as a testament to the DMW’s appreciation of creativity and its significant role in shaping the department’s identity.
Entries will be evaluated based on their concept and relevance (30%), creativity (30%), originality (20%), and overall impact (20%). This is your chance to let your creativity shine, contribute to the DMW’s identity and potentially bag a sizeable cash reward! We wish all participants the best of luck and look forward to your extraordinary entries!
